Founded in 2016, Vacca Coffeehouse is locally owned and located on historic Route 66 on Main Street Yukon, Oklahoma. In a reimagined building previously a grocery store, we chose to be a part of the revitalization of downtown Yukon. With the vision of bringing a more district-style approach to the area, we decided to bring our experiences in travel, coffee, food, and ice cream – all in one location. Vacca, the Italian meaning for ‘cow’, refers to the style of ice cream we hand make here. Territory represents the area or ‘town’ and in this case, Yukon. Where we are today is a reflection of the evolving needs of our local community and our loyal customers.
Our ice cream is handmade onsite in small batches for the most fresh results. Semifreddo, meaning half frozen, is the style of ice cream we make here. It’s an Italian method that doesn’t use traditional ice cream churn machines. The ingredients are whipped and hand folded before freezing. This reduces the ice crystals in traditional ice cream allowing for all of the flavors to shine through. We only use real ingredients: fresh cream, cane sugar, eggs, fresh fruit, butter, nuts, honey, chocolate, vanilla, peanut butter and espresso. The result: a rich, creamy, truly flavor full ice cream experience.
Ground 4 Compassion has been roasting beans since 2011. They’re based just up the road in Bethany, Oklahoma. Their approach to coffee is community based, responsibly sourced and driven by the passion to help others in the process. Our partnership is built on mutual respect and trust to provide the best, freshest roasted coffee experience to our customers. The large selection of origins and small batch roasting methods result in a smooth, non-bitter espresso shot. They are the perfect fit for Vacca Territory!
